The Sandwich Sidehillers Winter Trails Club is a non-profit organization that provides and maintains a winter trail system in the Squam Lake, Sandwich Notch and White Mountains areas. Our objectives are to advance the interest, enjoyment and safety of winter sports in the Sandwich area. Our trail system is open to snowmobilers, cross-country skiers, dog sledders and snowshoers. Please ride with care when snowmobiling as it is not uncommon to encounter these other forms of recreation while riding.
Our winter season brings a unique opportunity to get out and view some of the states awesome beauty. Any lover of winter will enjoy New Hampshire for its breathtaking views, clean country air and superb trails with good old fashioned New England hospitality.
New Hampshire has more than 6,800 miles of groomed trails and a dedicated snowmobile trail system that is one of the best in the world. New Hampshire’s trails are groomed by local clubs, who are all members of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA).
The Sidehillers meet monthly at our clubhouse located at 303 Wing Road in North Sandwich (our driveway is shared with Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse). Meeting dates and times will be posted here, on Facebook, on the Sandwich Board and/or via email. All members, and non members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We Appreciate Our Landowners!
The Sandwich Sidehillers would like to thank all of the landowners who have graciously allowed our Club to mark snowmobile trails across their property. Without their generosity there would be no snowmobile or winter trail system for our members or visitors to enjoy.
Landowners are trusting all of us to treat their property with respect. Please stay on marked trails, carry out what you carry in and ride safely.
