Hello!

Hi Sidehillers,
Attached are the minutes from the October meeting. Please note that the November monthly meeting will be early (November 17th) because of Thanksgiving.
Trail work has been really productive for the last 4 weeks. Both Mike Morton and Ben Fullerton have generously helped out by bringing in equipment to work on trails, lots of volunteers have come and worked (although we can always use more!!) and great progress has been made. There will be trail work again this Saturday. We will meet at the Clubhouse at 8:00 a.m. Please join us if you can!
The new batch of sweatshirts are in, and so many people have expressed an interest that Adam and I are losing track! If you have ordered one, please get in touch with me by email or call Adam at 651-8091 to arrange to get them to you.
Thanks, Julie Dolan

  • November 5th Trailwork

    Hi Everyone,
We will be doing another fun-filled trailwork session this Saturday morning, November 5th. We will plan on meeting at the Clubhouse on Wing Road at 8:00 a.m. and, depending on the number of people who show up, will head out from there. Lunch will be served back at the Clubhouse around 12:30 or so. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks, Julie Dolan

    Trail Work

    Hi,
Trail work this week will again be past the Brown’s Crossing bridge off of Bennett St. re-routing the section of trail before the big hill.  We will meet there around 8:00 a.m.  Mike Morton is generously donating time with his excavator to remove stumps and rocks and help to re-set a bridge.  Since that work will take much of the day, we will break for lunch right there near the bridge around noon, then head back out for more work in the afternoon.  Depending on the people that show up, different groups will be heading out to Little Young Mtn. to clear some trails.  Please bring clippers, saws, gloves, etc. and if you can’t come for the whole day, feel free to come for part of the day.  Any little bit of help is greatly appreciated!!  No experience is needed; everything from cutting brush and small trees to tossing brush out of the trail is helpful!
Hope to see a good turnout!
