     The Sidehiller monthly meeting will go back to the regular time of Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse.   Think Snow!

The regular monthly meeting will now be held on Thursday, February 21st at 7:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse as long as the Race is still on.  I will keep everyone posted, and thanks in advance for your help!

]]> http://www.sandwichsidehillers.com/feed/ 0 Snow Totals http://www.sandwichsidehillers.com/ http://www.sandwichsidehillers.com/#comments Sun, 10 Feb 2013 16:41:55 +0000 admin http://www.sandwichsidehillers.com/?p=433 Continue reading →]]>      The “Blizzard of 2013″ brought 9-16 inches of light, fluffy snow.  Unfortunately, the trails really had no base left, so there is a lot of ice under the fluff, so snowmobiles really need studs to navigate the hills.  As of Sunday morning, Keith Dolan was going out to do some packing, which should help.  I will update after I hear from him and others who get out.   Please use caution and try to avoid spinning snow off the hills.  Please feel free to post any updates on the Sandwich Sidehillers Winter Trail Club Facebook page!

     We will not be having the Sidehillers monthly meeting tonight, Thursday, January 31st.  No grooming going on, no snow to talk about.  Hopefully, things will freeze back up and we will get some good snow, but for now trails are certainly on hold.  The next item on the agenda (provided we get some snow!) will be the Sled Dog Race, which will be held on Saturday, February 16th.  The next Sidehiller meeting will be Thursday, February 14th if the Race is on.  I will keep you posted!  THINK SNOW!!
